About the role

We are looking for a Scrum Master who will facilitate and lead various Agile efforts to enable a happy and productive environment. As the Scrum Master, you will be empowered to help guide an experienced team of software developers, build and release product and be responsible for leading Agile best practices at the company. In addition to leading daily Scrum and other Agile meetings, you will also be responsible to ensure Agile is understood and enacted, work with team(s) to solve problems and to drive continuous improvement and business satisfaction.


  • Research industry trends and pitch content ideas
  • Facilitate and lead various scrum meetings (i.e., daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demonstrations) along with tracking and updating activities (meeting notes, tickets, delivery timelines, etc.)
  • Refine and update user stories along with product management
  • Create and maintain a delivery roadmap for features.
  • Escalate impediments to delivery quickly throughout the relevant parties, identify trade-offs for any possible mitigation strategies.
  • Help product owners to make the product backlogs in good shape and ready for the next sprint.
  • Work closely with product management and development to ensure delivery of a high-quality product.
  • Track ongoing initiatives in all product areas, including infrastructure, and develop project documentation
  • Provide data-gathering support for data analysis, as well as ad hoc inquiries
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams
  • Foster creativity and improve efficiency by removing blockers for the development team.
  • Identify and manage risks, process improvements and release planning.
  • Act as a safeguard for his/her team
  • Remove impediments for the scrum team
  • Coach engineering teams to apply Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Job requirements

  • Proficient in English
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient
  • Expertise in one or more other agile methodologies (Lean, Kanban, XP, TDD, CI/ Design thinking) and how they can be applied in a product development/program delivery environment.
  • Highly collaborative, excellent interpersonal skills, and able to work with diverse personality types
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering techniques such as Continuous integration, build, deliver, test-driven development, and other automated acceptance testing techniques. Continuous coaching of the team and stakeholders around the team to realize their highest potential
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels without straight-line authority
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, fluid, and dynamic environment
  • Facilitate product backlog maintenance, release and sprint planning, story writing, and backlog prioritization.
  • Motivate and enable the delivery teams to be self-organized and make them feel like awesome team members
  • Proficiency with Project Portfolio Management solutions, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of Agile tools
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Agile certification a plus
  • CSM or CSPO certifications is a plus
  • Agile ACP or Program Management experience is the plus
  • Managing distributed Agile team is plus ( different geographic locations)


The job requires operating in small teams in a highly dynamic and remote environment. Working remotely means that you need to, at least, manage one person - yourself. You must be able to, including but not limited to:

This position is fully REMOTE; no re-allocation or visa sponsorship is provided. You will work from anywhere; however, you will be hired in your legal country of residency.
